In the last fabric trade shows, like Premiere visión,  was where I could confirm the importance and influence of the season for balance out the pastels and brights tones. INK and Navy were the elected.

En la última feria de PV pude confirmar la importancia y la influencia de la temporada que ejercen el azul tinta o navy a la hora de  compensar los tonos pastel y los más brillantes. 

COLOR DIRECTION SPRING-SUMMER 2014. HOT RED.

RED as key color but like volcanic red. Work from dresses, tops and jackets in a solid colour or mixing tonal layers.

Rojo sera un color clave, pero un rojo volcánico. Trabajar desde vestidos, tops y chaquetas en rojo solido o mezclando diferentes tonalidades. 

COLOR DIRECTION SPRING-SUMMER 2014. INTENSE PINK.

Intense pink was an influencial fashion colour on last season autumn winter. For this season is a perfect accent for pronounce dresses and summer knits.

Si en la pasada temporada de otoño invierno, el rosa intenso, fue uno de los colores más influyentes. Para está temporada será el tono perfecto para acentuar vestidos y los tejidos más veraniegos.

For me is the neutral color of the season. Work well in different ways as a sophisticated, casual and trendy.

Para mi es el color neutro de la temporada. Trabaja bien de diferentes formas tanto de forma sofisticada, casual o algo más moderno.

TRENDS SPRING-SUMMER 2013. INTRODUCTION.

The past month of February I visited in Paris,  the trade fair Première Vision where I was able find lots of references that I have helped me to develop my own forecast about fashion trends for  next spring-summer 2013.

Firstly I would like to say that it  is not easy to rule out any reference or idea annotated in my personal sketchbook after I have collected lots of ideas that will inspire shape, colours and textures in our collections.

I would like to write some words about breakthroughs that will be seen in the coming weeks (NY, London, Milan, Paris ) for example that the majority of designers will focus on marking the hip line. Interesting silhouettes will be created in paper bag trousers, skirts, dresses with bowsor belts situated on the hip.

El pasado mes de febrero visité en París, la feria Première Vision donde pude encontrar un montón de referencias que me han ayudado a desarrollar mi propio pronóstico sobre las tendencias de moda para la próxima primavera-verano 2013.

En primer lugar me gustaría decir que no es fácil de descartar cualquier referencia o idea que anoté en mi cuaderno de bocetos personal  y más después de haber recogido un montón de ideas que inspirarán formas, colores y texturas en nuestras futuras  colecciones.

Me gustaría escribir algunas palabras acerca de los avances que se verán en las próximas semanas en NY, Londres, Milán y París, por ejemplo, que la mayoría de los diseñadores se centran en marcar la línea de la cadera. Siluetas interesantes se crearán en pantalones anchos, las faldas, los vestidos con cinturones o fruncidos situados en la cadera.

TRENDS SPRING-SUMMER 2013. ONE.

This season most of the textiles experts and fashion designers are using have been inspired by past traditions. Exploring and combining differents effects to find new territories. A good example could be work a vintage aesthetic combined with handcraft skills.

And in fact, I think that they have been able to use essential raw materials, like felt, raffia, string, cork or leather and like that find more eco-solutions in their inspiration.

Maybe we could discover new handwoven techniques that inspire new shapes that explore the body with geometric cut out arms, backs,shoulders or necklines and wearing the ethnic jewellery, I think, will focus all the attention.

Esta temporada la mayoría de los expertos textiles y diseñadores de moda se ha interesado por las tradiciones del pasado. Explorar y combinar diferentes efectos para la búsqueda de nuevos territorios. Podría ser un buen ejemplo trabajar una estética vintage combinado con las habilidades artesanales.

Y de hecho, creo que han sido capaces de utilizar materias primas esenciales, como el fieltro, rafia, cuerda, corcho o de cuero y así encontrar las soluciones más ecológicas en su inspiración.

Tal vez podamos descubrir algunas técnicas nuevas tejidas a mano que inspiran nuevas formas que exploran el cuerpo con cortes geométricos en los brazos, la espalda, los hombros o escotes y donde la joyería étnica, creo, se centrará toda la atención.

TRENDS SPRING-SUMMER 2013.TWO.

In this second part of the trends presentation, the new materials and textures could be the main reason for inspiration for the designers to create what we might call "the new simple functionality".

Pieces of clothes with ultra-simples shapes but clever cuts and in some cases we might see new patchworks that intend to emulate other materials using innovative finishings as well as playing with patterns between finished and unfinished.

In this part we will find the most abstract and sculptural forms. Coats or jackets mille feuille, undulating layers, random asymmetries or flamboyant ties.

En esta segunda parte de la presentación de las tendencias, los nuevos materiales y texturas puede ser la razón principal de inspiración de los diseñadores para crear lo que podríamos llamar "una nueva funcionalidad simple".

Los vestidos y tops con formas ultra-simples pero ingeniosos cortes y en algunos casos, podríamos ver nuevos “patchworks” que pretenden emular a otros materiales utilizando acabados innovadores, así como jugar con patrones entre acabado e inacabado.

En esta parte vamos a encontrar las formas más abstractas y escultóricas. Abrigos o chaquetas mil hojas, capas onduladas, las asimetrías de azar o lazadas llamativas.

TRENDS SPRING-SUMMER 2013.THREE

Inspiration will play with moving geometry. Stripes, pleats,lines in motion or could be some irregulars lines with vibrant colours as well. But on the other hand, the surreal nature continues to be a source of inspiration. This time with synthetic colours. Extraordinary gardens, exotic florals that remember the works of art by Georgia O`Keefe. That could perfectly inspire ballgowns and cocktail dresses.

What can you find in this trend? Skirts with full circle or knee-length flares, or volume cinched at the waist. Hankie hem dresses or even fullyflared from neckline might be seen.

Inspiración jugará con el movimiento de la geometría. Rayas, líneas, pliegues en movimiento o como podría ser algunas líneas irregulares con colores vibrantes. Pero por otro lado, la naturaleza surrealista sigue siendo una fuente de inspiración. Esta vez con colores sintéticos. Extraordinarios jardines, flores exóticas que recuerdan las obras de arte de Georgia O `Keefe. Que bien podrían inspirar trajes de noche y vestidos de cóctel.

¿Qué puedes encontrar en esta tendencia? Faldas capadas  y metros de tul, gasa o el volumen que ciñe la cintura. Se pueden ver vestidos pañuelo incluso volumen completo en el escote.

TRENDS SPRING-SUMMER 2013. FOUR.

Another important source of inspiraTion could be shimmery fabrics whose reflections or distorted  colours once again attract the attentión of designers. Ultra-transparent fashion pieces with abstract prints or cellophane glints, poliamida, metallo-plastics or pale metals. The sequins in pastel sparkle or have pearl colourations.

A key piece in the collections will be the rain coat. Tailored in waterproof taffetas or ultra-light like tracing paper.

Otra importante fuente de inspiración podría ser el brillo de las telas cuyos reflejos distorsionados que una vez más atraen la atencion de los diseñadores. Piezas de moda ultra-transparentes con estampados abstractos o van a tener destellos de celofán, poliamida, metalo-plásticos o metales pálidos. Las lentejuelas brillan en tonos pastel o en coloraciones perladas.

Una pieza clave en las colecciones será los abrigos de lluvia. Adaptados en tafetán impermeable o ultra-ligeros como papel de calco.

TRENDS SPRING-SUMMER 2013. FIVE.

To end this review of trends I would like to say that it will be important to wear generous and easy shirts , shirtwaist, tunics with drawstrings for meeting a childlike style. On featherweight fabrics. Don´t forget boyish jeans. Short and full volume gathered skirts with tone-on-tone decoration and prints. Another essential this season will be the post-manufacturing wash-out, obtaining swathes of colour which are more interestings and new as a result.

Para poner fin a esta revisión me gustaría decir que serán importantes las camisas generosas y fáciles, blusas, túnicas con cuellos para conseguir el estilo infantil. En telas de peso pluma. No te olvides de vaqueros. Faldas con volumen se estampan y adornan en tono sobre tono. Otro punto esencial de esta temporada será la post-producción, obteniendo como resultado franjas de colores interesantes y más nuevos.
